About Myself

Elise Sledge is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in fashion and character design. As a child she’s always participated in the arts whether it was being enrolled in ballet or playing the trumpet from elementary school college. She also found herself enamored by pop culture moments, some of which still inspire her to this day. It was through these experiences that she decided to submerge herself further in the world of arts and performance. 

    While being driven by her passion for art and performance, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Art History from SUNY Purchase. It was there that she first had her introduction to the transformative and magic uses of makeup and character design. After a considerable career in hospitality she attended the Make Up Designory (MUD), completing the Fashion Program. It was during this intensive training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots and designed a range of characters. 

    In the future Elise looks forward to lending her expertise to horror films, fashion and print shoots, television and music videos. She continues to seek more opportunities to bring to life characters and inspire others in the same way she was inspired as a child.
